The Independent Theatre cultural bases were dissimilar and antagonistic with respect to the cultural policies of the early Peronism (1946-1955). In fact, for the Independent Theatre, Peronism was not only an adversary, a mere obstacle, but an enemy who "accidentally" enhanced creativity and strength of the group. Independent Theater generated various forms of ideological answers conceived in reaction to the sociopolitical context, which were limited to two types: on the one hand, and to a lesser extent, focused on the level of production of dramatic texts, and secondly on the design of a universal program in order to express in a clearly ideologized way their political discontent.
