Contenido:
In this paper, we analyze the work Alfonsina y los hombres by Mariano Moro in which the playwright builds a fictional Alfonsina from Alfonsina Storni’s poems, and according to this new figure he gives an account of his life. This staging has no plot, however, Alfonsina’s words allude to facts poetically recreated. When, as in the case of this work, the poetic is present in the entire monologue and is its essential element, a break occurs. At this point, the viewer is forced to pay attention because he perceives that the opacity of the language indicates that there is another message that must be decoded, that challenges him and removes him from his usual position.
